In April, I received the most unusual email. It was from a PR rep for Lowe’s. I originally was going to pass up on the opportunity. Seeing as this is a “fashion” blog and I don’t own my current place I didn’t see a fit. Not realizing that fashion and home decor actually go hand-in-hand. Once we talked logistics, my fiance gave the ok and BOOM! Not only did I collaborate with Lowe’s but we filmed for their series “The Weekenders” on their YouTube channel! (watch here)
Getting my pin removed from my foot. This was my final surgery and the true road to recovery began. I thank you all for your support of listening to me vent when I was down. Writing is my outlet and being able to share that experience with you all meant the world to me.
Birthday trip to Ocean City Maryland. This is probably one of my favorite places to be on the East coast besides Hilton Head and Miami lol.
Girls trip/bachelorette party to Miami. My roommate from college got married in July. What a better place to celebrate than Miami!

Straight off the plane from Miami, Primark was my next stop. Working with Refinery 29, I had the opportunity to preview the opening of the Willow Grove, PA store. I even took one of my best girlfriends with me!
Trip to Hilton Head. My family goes every year…I just hopped back on the band wagon. I’m so glad I got to see my family that I haven’t seen in a while.
Collaborating with and hosting an event for Lord & Taylor! So much fun, something I’ve always wanted to do. So grateful for the opportunity.
Getting inducted into my highschool sports hall of fame for tennis!!! Please tell me why of all the blog posts I didn’t share this with y’all!!!! I talked about it in my October Favorites video but that was it. 
Trip to Punta Cana. I can’t say enough great things about this trip. I’m still working on my vlog because I want to make sure it’s perfect. Hopefully that will go up tomorrow and I mean it this time lol.

Getting engaged! December 1, 2016 my life was forever changed. The love of my life and best friend proposed to me! Besides being the icing on the cake for the trip, it also was for the year. I don’t talk about him much on the blog but he is the main reason I started blogging. I had an idea and a passion. He said “do it”. That little bit of support meant so much to me then and still to this day.
This was a great year! I think any year that you are alive is a great year. I’ve seen so much negativity at the end of the year and I just think “why”? If you didn’t reach a goal work/hustle harder…but smarter. Relationships not panning out…re-evaluate and possibly let it go. On Monday I plan on sharing my “New Year Resolutions” with y’all. They are both personal and professional. Last thing, once again I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all of your support over the years. 2017 WILL BE great!
