Happy Friday! Keeping today’s post short and sweet and talking about Highland Orchards. Of all of the Fall things to do, my favorite is going to an orchard. Last year I went to Linvilla and it was all about pumpkins and pumpkin picking. This year, I really wanted to go apple picking.
Highland Orchards is located in Chester County Pennsylvania. It’s the cutest orchard with hayrides, pumpkin patches, animals and one of my favorite parts…a fresh bakery. More on that later. As I said above, I really wanted to go apple picking this year. Though I prefer red apples, those trees were not available for us to visit that day. The good thing, the green apples that I picked are great for baking.
So I talked about the fresh bakery and let me tell you, they have THE BEST cider donuts!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about them. I overdid it and ordered a dozen lol.
I’m signing off for the day but I will leave you with a quick story. I went to this orchard when I was in preschool and got locked in one of their giant freezers lol. Oh memories! Have a great weekend.
