Hilton Head Weekend Guide

Vida Fashionista

Whoo hoo, my Hilton Head Weekend Guide is finally up!  I truly hope you have been enjoying my weekend guides .  I love putting them together for you.  Most of this was covered in my Hilton Head VLOG but today I’m breaking down everything for you.

Where to stay:

Hilton Head Marriott Beach & Golf Resort

This resort was absolutely beautiful and so close to everything!  The staff was so friendly and the fact that it’s on the beach is an added bonus.  There was an indoor and outdoor pool, hammock area, outside bar and grill, spa, gym, you name it!

Where to eat:

Now, I’m not going to be a wealth of knowledge in this area since we ate with family almost every day.

Stack’s Pancakes

We went to Stack’s Pancakes for breakfast everyday (only 2 days).   The first day I got my traditional breakfast meal, eggs, bacon and home fries called Hilton Head breakfast.  I also ordered the peach mimosa and it was amazing!  OMG guys, I finally had my first experience of eating chicken and waffles!  What better place than the South cuz they get it right!

Room Service

Even though we had a ton of food at the family reunion, I spent my time taking pictures so I did not eat.  Once back at the hotel, my dad ordered a pizza.  It was sooooo delicious and we ordered a second one lol.

Fish Fry

My family had a fish fry and over 5 bushels of crabs.  Needless to say we didn’t do too much take out!

What to do:

There is so much to do when you go to Hilton Head.  Since I was there specifically for my family reunion, there were many more things to be done.

Go to the beach

Anywhere with a beach…I’m there.  Since our hotel was on the water, we had no other choice but to go to the beach.

Station 300

My cousins that put together our family reunion did a great job at keeping us busy.  If you love bowling and arcades, you must go to Station 300 in Bluffton.  It’s about 10 minutes away from Hilton Head so very easy to get to.  Inside were 24 lanes, an arcade area and a bar!

Downtown Savannah

While I know this isn’t Hilton Head, Downtown Savannah is only a 50 minute drive from Hilton Head.  My cousins and I are close in age and wanted a “night out on the town.”  We decided to venture to Downtown Savannah.  While there, we went to Wet Willies and a couple of local bars

Jarvis Creek Park:  This was the location of the family reunion and it was absolutely beautiful.  I’m a huge nature lover so of course I took the time to see the gorgeous views.  Just beware of the gators in the lake.  We saw a couple and my dad got one on video!

What to wear:

It’s super important to know the weather in Hilton Head.  In the Summer time, it’s usually hot and humid.  Be sure to pack light layers and loose fitting clothing.
