Philly Spotlight: Parc Rittenhouse

Parc Rittenhouse

Hi babes and welcome to my first of many Philly Spotlights. Highlighting the amazing food, entertainment, etc. in Philly.  Kicking this series off with none other than Parc Rittenhouse.  Listen, I’ve never been to France before but I’m sure this is as close as you can get.  Located in Rittenhouse Square…Parc gives all the French feels and brings the most delicious French cuisine.

I dined with my photographer/cousin Joe.  The first thing brought to the table was bread.  I’m not usually one to eat bread but after a day of shooting I was starving.  The bread was soooooo delicious.  To wash down the bread, we couldn’t say no to some sparkling rosé.  We had the Francois Montand brut rosé.

For our first course we had crab and avocado.  So light and refreshing, a great choice for an appetizer.  Now I’ll admit, coming in at $24 for such a small appetizer is a bit much for some but I promise it’s so worth it.  When you dine at Parc it’s all about the experience.

Now on to our second course.  For Joe, he had Quiche with fries.  I’ve never had quiche before so of course I asked him if I could taste it…amazing!  It was egg and bacon and with the crust it basically tasted like a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich but a much lighter texture.  The consistency is very light and fluffy as not to weigh you down too much.  Highly recommended and it wasn’t even my meal lol.

I on the other hand had Steak Frites.  I am a meat and potato gal all the way.  This meal also didn’t disappoint with it’s delicious sauce of maitre d’ butter.  Followed by more rosé to wash everything down.

Dinner was followed up with dessert which I rarely do.  I had to step outside of my comfort zone here and try something new.  Boy am I glad I did! My dessert drink was hot chocolate and dessert was the most delicious Macaron Noisette.  It consisted of hazelnut mousse, salted caramel and bananas.  This dessert may be small but it’s packed full of flavor.  Oh and it wouldn’t be “France” without some macaroons right!?

If you are ever in the mood for French cuisine or just some really great food, I highly recommend Parc.  If you do go, ask for Brendan.  He was our server and so great!  It’s a little more on the expensive side but I can’t say enough great things.  Now I understand why my friends go there multiple times a day!

Wow. I sure wished I lived there, I would definitely give that place a try. That food and bubbly is looking mouthwatering and your outfit is so lovely. Really feeling the vibe you are giving off in the photos. Love the photo of you looking out the window.
