Yes you read that right, I’m doing a Philly Fashion Week recap. If you have been a follower of Vida Fashionista then you know I attend Philly Fashion Week every season. This year was interesting because I had a couple of events outside of the fashion week. Let’s get started!
First stop of the week on Tuesday the 21st was to the Kendra Scott store in Ardmore, PA. Myself and some other Philly bloggers enjoyed champs (champagne), macaroons, the most delicious cheese and of course shopping! Of course when you get a group of bloggers together, everything is a photo op! The store had the most amazing lighting and just perfect for pictures. With huge thanks to the Kendra Scott team, we all left with some goodies!
My next stop as soon as I left the Kendra Scott store was to the Philly Fashion Week style gala. I love blogging and networking so much. These events are always a fun time to play dress up, so wardrobe change it is! By the way, the black dresses shown below are by one of my favorite local designers Latasha Hall of Lillie Designs. She just so happens to be making my wedding dress!
As you can see from the date, Thursdays event was at Hotel Palomar in Center City Philly. This event was so fun and for such a great cause. Action Wellness is a nonprofit organization committed to helping people living with chronic diseases in the Greater Philadelphia area. The hotel floor was decorated like a casino and there were blackjack tables, drag queens, delicious food and drinks. I even got to meet some of my fellow male Philly bloggers Alex and Mike which was great.
These PR events don’t come around that often and I don’t always have time to go. I’m so happy I got to go to as much as I did. I love sharing what’s going on in Philly with you all and I hope you enjoy!
Last things I want to tell y’all. I start my new job on MONDAY!!! I am so excited and couldn’t be happier because it’s my dream job. More on that later. Also, today marks my 3 year bloggerversary!!! I really wanted to do something big but it’s never too late. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks for reading!
