Today let’s talk about a super fun event I attended. It was a Shop MNYK tour. Basically, myself and some other fabulous Philly blogger babes toured some amazing shops in Manayunk Philadelphia. Let me tell you, the shops on Main Street Manayunk are fantastic. Every time I go there I get sucked into shopping. We started off with some bites and drinks at Maya J. I met some fabulous Philly blogger babes. In the picture below it’s myself, Linsey of The Mother Chic, Erica of Coming Up Roses, Macarena of The Material Girl, Hara of Fashion and The City. Now time for the tour. The stores we visited were Millay, Lila International, Remix, Threads on Main, Ashe B. & Co. and finally Nicole Miller.
First stop on the tour, Millay Vintage. I was having a total Olivia Pope moment when I tried on this coat in the picture below. Millay offers a curation of vintage, designer, and modern heirlooms for the wardrobe and home. Let me tell you, Millay had one of the best collection of winter coats I have ever seen. Not to mention that they have the cutest shop dog in the world!
Next we made our way over to Lila Fashion International which was a store after my own heart. The store is full of pattern and print mixing. There were some awesome graphic t-shirts and sweatshirts AND they also have a shop dog!
Next stop, Remix. The thing I love about the shops in Manayunk is the unexpected size. Walking up to the stores are usually a smaller store front. Enter the store and you’re blown away by the depth of the store. This is exactly how Remix is. The store just kept going and going.
It’s no secret that I love to shop. Of course I wasn’t leaving this shopping event without a purchase! How gorgeous is this Trina Turk dress from Remix!?
Here comes the bride? I’m not getting married any time soon but when the time comes, Ashe B. & Co. is on my list. Just take a look at the stunning gowns below. Honestly the stand out for me was the beautiful sequin dress which I wouldn’t mind having as a bridesmaid dress. A girl can dream right? Lol
If you are ever in the Philadelphia area, I highly recommend you visit these shops. I promise they won’t disappoint.
