Gift Guide: For the Travelista

Travelista

The holidays are here and the time for holiday travel is here. Also, in light of my upcoming vacation (more on that later) today’s gift guide is for the travelista! What exactly is a travelista? Well it’s a fashionista who travels. Maybe I just made that word up but I love it! You might not be able to afford a private jet charter just yet, but this little collage covers the basics of what you need for traveling. There are other items such as water, chapstick and gum that are necessary as well. I will link those after the collage.

Headphones – How people travel without headphones is beyond me. When I’m on a plane, I hate that constant humming sound. I need headphones to drown out the sound (or alcohol 😉 )

  1. Bose SoundSport headphones Perfect for working out. My boyfriend wants something like these.
  2. Beats wireless headphones

Red Eye Kit – Is this not the smartest little kit ever? Rather than having to remember to pack these items separately, it’s done for you. Dental floss sticks, eye mask, tooth brush, all perfect for a long flight

Carryon luggage

Portable charger – Need I say more. My job requires me to be on my phone. I like many others have the issue of phones dying often. Avoid that headache and get a really good portable charger.

Travel Blanket – Genius. As cold as it is on planes, you would think more would provide travel blankets. I know international flights do but I’m not sure about the domestic ones.

Jewelry organizer – I’ll admit I love the idea of these but I personally don’t have that much jewelry (working on that).

Duffel – In my ideal world I would love the Louis Vuitton one. To be practical, I love this Sole Society duffel. Depending on where I’m headed I like the handsfree option of a duffel by using the long strap.

Passport Holders – I never thought about this as a gift or a thing until I travelled internationally for the first time. Travelistas have to travel in style! Send your favorite travelista off with a cute passport holder. And someone tell my boyfriend I want the Louie one 😉 .

Blanket scarf – Great alternative if you don’t have a travel blanket. Travel in style on the plane and use it as a scarf. Stay warm on the plane and use it as a blanket

Leggings – The most comfy thing you could wear on a flight. Wear them in the airport or change on the plane. Either way, you need a pair with you.

Camera – This is actually the camera I just bought and I LOVE it! I love pictures whether I am a blogger or not and having a great camera to capture memories is priceless.

Go Pro – On my Black Friday list! I’m heading some place warm next week and want to capture some cool under water moments! I’ve seen some really cool go pro moments so I’m going to take the plunge and get my own!

Laptop – So necessary. Between my laptop and my phone, they get about the same amount of love.

Comfy socks – If you’re like me you take your shoes off on a flight. It’s way more comfortable and I like to feel the floor when I fly. I always have a comfy pair of socks with me for flights.

Large tote – Since most airlines let you carry a personal item and a carryon, I use a large tote. Since I got it, I carry my Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM. It’s so roomy and stylish! I love the shape and size of this one by Sole Society.

Sleep mask – Y’all I have to sleep in absolute darkness. I will fall asleep if there is light but if I can help it, give me a sleep mask. I’m usually sleep before we get off the run way so these are perfect for a day or night flight.

I know many of you are traveling this holiday weekend. I hope this post was helpful for you and shed light on different ideas for gifts. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the start of the best Black Friday sales!

Thanks for reading!
