Bold Red Blazer

True story, not only do you need a blazer but you need a bold red blazer in your life.  If you know me then you know red is my favorite color.  I think it’s quite interesting that designers are showing red on the runway this season like it left.  Now all of a sudden everyone is obsessed with red.  News flash…it never left.  Red has always been used as an accent color.  Something to give your outfit a pop of color.  Lately people are wearing red from head-to-toe.

One thing I am excited about this season is the “return” of blazers.  Another item that never really left.  No matter what the “experts” say, you should always have something red and a blazer in your closet.  Back to blazers, plaid blazers are huge right now.  I’m in the process of finding the perfect one.  They just always pull your look together.  I love how this look is super casual without the blazer but then adding the blazer makes it extra chic.

Even though I did not attend New York Fashion Week this year, I basically was there through Instagram.  It was nice to have a “backstage” pass on stories.  I took in a lot of information and could not be more excited for cooler weather.

Switching gears, this is my first blog post since leaving the bank.  It’s so strange…in a good way.  I am still adjusting and I want to thank EVERYONE for their kind words and support.  There is so much more in store for Vida Fashionista and I thank you all for following along.  It means the world to me!
