What is Bastille Day? Bastille Day celebrates the liberation and unity of the French people. Designer Chloe Johnston is hosting a Bastille Day Fireman’s Ball to celebrate the French National Day. The event will be held at Local 22 Philadelphia Firefighters Union on Tuesday July 12th from 6-10pm.
In essence, Paris is brought to Philly for the day
First of all, attendees of the event get a taste of French culture indulging in delicious desserts like crepes. Seems like macaroons will be there too. Also, the Smooth Cow food truck will provide food for the event. In addition, enjoy an open bar, musical entertainment from Mr. Hollywood DJ, a photo booth plus so much more! Finally, there is going to be a raffle and 15% of the proceeds go toward the Local 22 Firemen’s Widows Fund.
