Berry nice. Fall is one of my favorite times of year. The leaves change color before they fall and they have a distinct smell that take me back to childhood. Who remembers having a freshly raked pile of leaves and then jumping in it!? #Nostalgia. I think of my grandmom’s famous sweet potato pie, the crispness in the air, pumpkins and hay rides. With Fall comes some of my favorite colors to wear. This color I’m wearing has been called many things over the years. Berry, oxblood, wine, burgundy, maroon, one of those.
Let’s talk about this outfit for a minute shall we? I’ve been wearing these boots non stop since I got them. I have a more in depth post coming to the blog soon about them. They remind me of Stuart Weitzman but minus the hefty price tag. Great quality suede, super comfortable and so cute. I get compliments on them all of the time. I also bought them in tan and I’m so glad I did. Secretly I almost got them in olive too lol.
My shirt is by J.Jill and so comfortable. This brand has easily become one of my favorites for basics. Each item that I have from this company are excellent in quality and so soft. Hey, if I love it, I’m going to brag about it because why not? As the years go by we really should invest in and buy quality items over quantity anyway. If you are interested in the brand and love this shirt, I’m wearing a size small for reference. I would say their sizes are true to size.
