This outfit won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but this is the best faux fur jacket I own! Ya know, sometimes when you go into Marshall’s or T.J. Maxx you just never know what to expect. On this particular day that I found this jacket I was literally complaining how our Marshall’s always has slim pickings. Sure enough, not only did I find this jacket but some other great faux fur ones too.
The reason this post says “Fashion Week inspired” is because New York Fashion Week is still underway. I chose not to attend due to scheduling conflicts. In the spirit of it, I did a poll on Instagram Stories and y’all said you would like to see some outfits. So, over the next week or so that’s what I’ll be doing. Oh and next week is Philly Fashion Week.
Over the years of fashion weeks I’ve grown to love more than just the shows. The real runway is outside, the street style. The street style never disappoints and always inspires me to kick up my creativity. I feel like I used to never hesitate on choosing what to wear, just wear what I’m feeling that day. Lately my looks have been “safe” but I want to change all of that.
Anyway, sorry for the rant. So this look is more on the safe side for fashion week but the faux fur jacket takes the cake. If you do a quick Google search of “Fashion Week outfits” I’m sure you will see a plethora of big faux fur coats, boots and outlandish outfits, especially in February.
