If ever I have a Carrie Bradshaw moment, BHLDN has made that dream a reality. You know the scene when she is posing for her cover of Vogue. While I may not be on the cover of Vogue (a girl can dream) the cover of “Vida Fashionista” will do lol. Anyways, it’s so crazy how becoming a bride opens you up to a whole new world of fashion. I’ve even shown an interest in fashionable cars after picking which wedding car I wanted from Ichauffeur Melbourne! The whole wedding planning process can be quite strssful, but when you think that this should be one of the best moments of your life, it all makes sense. We all just want everything to be perfect. Plus, the dress is one of the most important parts of a wedding, so why not take your time to vist chicago store or find inspiration online to find the dress that is right for you. When it comes to myself, I like to consider my wedding dress style “classic and traditional with a twist.”
I heard about BHLDN Wedding but never knew how amazing the dresses are. One look at their online boutique and I was in bridal heaven! Getting the opportunity to wear these dresses in their new collection was a dream! Sit back and enjoy the collection. I took over the WeddingWire Instagram stories to share a behind the scenes look from BHLDN’s Fall collection. If you love any of the dress styles, feel free to shop all the styles at the bottom of the post!
The first look features this Naya dress. The first thing that caught my eye about this dress is the gorgeous beading! I am a huge fan of detail so lace and beading has my heart. This dress would be beautiful for a beach wedding or something for a more “casual bride”, shower, rehearsal dinner. It really is just stunning and comes in other colors besides white.
Now moving on to the Suri Gown. Lace, lace and more lace! Everything about this dress is perfect. From the mermaid shape, to the neckline and lace detail. I always appreciate detail and a beautiful neckline. When it comes to choosing your dress, definitely go with something that flatters your figure the most. Can we talk about the back of this dress for a minute!? Amazing!
Do you notice a little pattern between the Suri Gown and this Carson Gown? My love for classic lace details shines through for both of these dresses. For this Carson Gown, I love the blush undertones of the dress. It really makes the lace stand out. It’s also a great option for those that don’t want a “white” dress. I’m also a fan of the subtle mermaid silhouette of the dress.
For the unconventional bride, civil union or just for a bridal dinner this Mara Jumpsuit is an unexpected treat! It’s the perfect mixture of masculine and feminine. This jumpsuit is great too because it has just the right amount of padding in it AND pockets! The belt was added to make the jumpsuit pop a little more.
Now let’s talk about the Laurel Cami and Hampton Skirt set. This is a two-piece set and we added a belt to give the look something. Now I would not consider this a “wedding dress” but something perfect for a rehearsal, dinner or shower. Also, for those that want to opt for color other than white, this blush color is beautiful!
This Shelby Dress is a cross between Audrey Hepburn meets Marliyn Monroe. The dress is just stunning! Even though it has a plunging neckline it also adds just the right amount of coverage. No need to worry about side boob and the top has a little padding in it as well. Oh and did I mention that the dress has pockets!?
Now on to a little Mother of the Bride action. I love that my mom was able to try on some dresses as well. I think she even found one that she loves! The two dresses that she is wearing are the Cecelia Dress and the second is the Melinda Dress. Both dresses are extremely flattering for her figure and the detail absolutely stunning!
Finally the Cinderella of all dresses. This is actually a skirt and bodice. The skirt is the Almira Skirt and it is just what dreams are made of. The layers in the skirt really make it something special. Let’s talk about the movement! I put this skirt and bodice on and all I could do was twirl!
Now tell me, which dress is your favorite?
