Bienvenido Miami

Bienvenido Miami!  Looking at the pictures from today’s post, I wish I took more of the inside of the hotel.  As this week continues, I’ll share more of my trip.

The one thing I love about Miami is the warm beaches and pools.  As soon as we arrived we got into the pool.  Being about 2 hours early for check in, swimming seemed like a great idea.

This iguana I named “Iggy”.   There were two of them just hanging out as we swam and they were humongous!

The hotel we stayed at was called the “Marseilles”.  The best part  about it is that it is just steps away from the beach.  I’ll touch more on that in my full recap post.

I should also note that I left these orange swim shoes there 🙁 .  I can’t believe it.  At least they were only $9.99 but still.  Don’t you hate when you leave something behind on vacation?
