Clearly this post is called chasing sunsets for a reason. One of the hardest things for me has been balancing my full-time job with blogging. It’s not even that it’s necessarily hard but finding time to take pictures or getting up extra early during the week can be brutal. The one thing I love about the change of the season is that we get some extra daylight towards the end of the day. This means that if I don’t feel like waking up early before work to shoot, I can come home after work and still be able to take photos…winning!
It actually amazes me how quick sunset comes between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. I forget the exact time I took these photos but it was somewhere in that window. It literally was bright and sunny when I started taking the pics and then I was able to get a couple of amazing golden hour shots before finishing up. I thought the pictures were going to turn out awkward and really dark but golden hour has a way of creating magical lighting.
Okay, okay, end of my photog (short for photographer) talk. I forgot to tell you guys about some things I have coming up and what I’ve been doing lately. Nothing too crazy on my end but I went back to my first dance practice since I broke my foot and it was awesome! I’m not 100% yet but it felt great to be able to dance again. Also, I’ll have another YouTube video up by Tuesday, I saw Batman vs. Superman and thought it was okay but I wanna see what other people have to say, I went to the screening of Barbershop: The Final Cut and it’s hilarious and y’all should see it when it comes out April 15 if you are on the fence and finally I’m going on a date tonight with my boyfriend (insert heart eye emoji). Do y’all have any fun plans this weekend?
Thanks for reading!
