So much to unload in today’s post so let’s get to it! I was invited by Dermalogica to come in for a ProSkin 60 skin treatment. Part of this skin treatment included a Dermalogica facemapping prescription. Let’s start from the beginning. First off the ProSkin 60 skin treatment is a customized 60-minute Dermalogica skin treament that that takes you on the healthiest journey to your best looking skin. The experience is customizable because it will address all of your skin concerns while allowing you to relax and get a little rest. In the above photo, this is my personal face mapping guide. Upon arriving, you are given a questionnaire to address any and all of your skin concerns. As you can seem my two skin goals are healthy skin and hydrated skin. Next the aesthetician takes a closer look at your skin under lights and a huge magnifying glass to see what your areas of improvement are. On the face in the photo, you can see where I have some dehydration, fine lines, comedones (blackheads) as well as some pigmentation issues.
Once the treatment was done, I was given my face mapping prescription along with recommended products and a regimen for how often and what products to use in the AM and PM. All of the products are shown in the above photo.
Precleanse – To be used in the am and pm. This is a deep cleansing oil that melts impurities and makeup from skin.
Biolumin-C Serum – To be used in the am and pm. This high performance serum enhances skin’s natural defense system to brighten, firm and help dramtically reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I use this to help with my pigmentation issues around my mouth and on my décolletage.
Sound Sleep Cocoon – Use daily at night. This revitalizing treatment gel-cream transforms skin overnight by optimizing nighttime skin recovery.
Clear Start Blackhead Clearing Fizz Mask – Use 2 times weekly at night. This unique mask’s active fizzing formula effectively clears pores and helps target blackhead. Most specifically I get them around my nose area.
Rapid Reveal Peel – Kick start cell renewal and achieve visible radiance with this at-home peel.
Special Cleansing Gel – Use daily in the am. Soap-free, foaming gel cleanses all skin condition.
Skin Hydrating Masque – Use 3 times weekly in the am. A refreshing, moisturizing masque to remedy dry, stressed skin. I use this after cleansing my face in the morning.
Prisma Protect – Use daily in the am. Light-activated multitasking moisturizer provides broad spectrum defense while preventing future signs of skin damage. This is great because it has SPF30 in it!
Daily Microfoliant – Use daily in the am. Achieve brighter, smoother skin every day with this iconic exfoliating powder. This microfoliant is a rice-based powder and activates upon contact with water.
