It’s that time of year again and I’m here to share my Diner En Blanc 2019 recap. I’ll start by saying that I had the privilege of judging “most elegant lady” for the second year in a row! Without further or do…this year’s Diner En Blanc location was at the beautiful Boathouse Row! The photo below is one of the many boathouses on the water and was also the media holding area.
I’ll try to briefly explain Diner En Blanc but you can get more details in this post. Long story short, the location of the event is kept a secret until the day of the event. Throughout the day we receive text messages with clues of the location and telling us where our “holding area” is to meet. This year was a little different for me as I took advantage of “Sofitel en Blanc” I did not have the full experience but I did go to the hotel for a champagne toast and then we were transported to the location.
The night was so fun as it’s a huge gathering of friends, some old and some new. I love being in the media area because that’s where many of my blogger/media friends are too.
Ended the night with my two best dressed ladies. How great do Akeesha and Sam look!? Everyone’s favorite part of the night is the sparkler send off. Afterwards, we got transported back to the Sofitel for the official after party. Once again, thank you to all that made Diner En Blanc possible. I know it takes a ton of planning, especially keeping details a secret and I truly appreciate it. Until next year!
