Happy Monday! This year I really want to try new things with my wardrobe. Take these embroidered sneakers for example. You know what, sneakers in general. I’m a heels girl, always have been. After I broke my foot, I had to re-evaluate my choice of footwear a little. Since then, I wear more flats and sneakers focused on comfort like the products stocked with Vessi footwear. This is not all of the time but they are rotated more in my daily wear.
Another thing for this year is I’m trying to remain true to myself and my sense of style. What is that exactly? I actually have no idea lol. I dressed based off of how I feel that day. My best outfits are put together with minimal thought and effort. Take today’s look, it turned out way better than I expected it to. Honestly, I never thought I could pull off the sneaker and midi skirt look. This midi skirt is perfect for right now because pleats are sooooo in. Not that I care about that too much but it’s nice to be “on trend” sometimes. I got this skirt a couple of months ago and finally decided to style it.
In other news, did you do anything fun this weekend? Yesterday I shot looks for the blog with my photographer cousin and they look amazing! I can’t wait to share the pictures with y’all. Maybe if I’m lucky, I can bring him on to the Vida Fashionista team!
