I know I’ve over loaded y’all with blanket scarves so I’m switching it up for some Fall business casual wear. All my 9 to 5 ladies, this is for you and was highly requested. Before we talk about business casual wear, let’s talk about Fall colors. Fall colors are basically the colors that you see the leaves changing to (tan, brown, mustard, red, orange, etc). Mix in some navy blues and berry or oxblood colors and you are set.
Depending on where you work will determine your business casual look. First off, what is business casual? Well, it’s less formal than the “traditional” business wear (like a suit). The intent, however, is to still give a professional and businesslike impression. For my ladies: a blouse, pencil skirt, slacks/dress pants, relaxed heel (no more than 2-3 inches).
The other thing about business casual that I love is adding some print or color. In a traditional business professional look, the colors tend to be neutrals and solid (black, white, gray, etc). For the business casual look, I love to incorporate my sense of style and love for prints or patterns. That’s why I added this polka dot blouse. I still have the business casual vibe but with a little “fun” in the mix.
I hope you enjoyed that change up in looks for today’s post. Let me know if you need/want to see more business casual/professional looks. Also, I apologize for the late start today. Number one, it’s Monday, number two..it was a busy weekend for me. Last thing, my October favorites video/blog post will be up on Thursday!
