First things first, happy first day of Fall! So how do we feel about grandpa sweaters? I just got this one from Fashion Nova and I’m obsessed! Actually all of the grandpa sweaters I have right now are from Fashion Nova. The others are houndstooth print though. Personally I am a big fan of them. Whether they are trending or not does not matter to me. As a fashion blogger I know I have to keep up with trends/try them but they come and go right? Some of the trends I keep and wear even when they are “trendy” because at the end of the day you should dress how you want to.
Another trend that I have been trying is the 90s fit/baggy/straight leg jeans trend. Apparently Gen Z style is trending so skinny jeans are “out” at the moment. Let me talk about that for a second. Skinny jeans will never actually be “out” because how the heck are you supposed to show off your booties wearing baggy legged jeans!? If you have any ideas I’m all ears. But yes, a trend I really didn’t think I would get into is these jeans but here we are. These are also from Fashion Nova. I actually have been loving their denim. I’m sharing a TikTok today showing the new jeans that I just got from Fashion Nova and they are all fantastic.
I honestly didn’t think I’d like the baggy fitting jeans since I’m short but it all depends on how you wear them. I always choose ones with a super high rise. That’s key for us shorties.
