Ladies, love it or hate it we all have it. Today I’m going to share how I store makeup in our house. Luckily for me, I have a patient husband who has allowed me to have a vanity lol. You know the guys don’t want the place to look “too girly.” Well when I asked and he said yes, I hit the ground running lol.
My Vanity
My wonderful parents got me this vanity I think 2 years ago for Christmas. Now that we are in a new space, I feel that I use it more than I did in the last place. In the drawers, I keep everything that doesn’t fit in the acrylic containers and vanity tray. Things like extra makeup and pallets, my brush travel holder, eye lashes and glue, etc.
Acrylic Storage Container
If you don’t have a vanity, this acrylic storage container is a game changer. I’ll rave about this thing all day long! Originally I wanted the Glambox but could not imagine paying that amount of money. I literally typed in “acrylic makeup storage” on Amazon and this popped up! You can even buy other containers that attach to the top of this one. My other acrylic container I think I got from Ross, T.J. Maxx or Marshalls. They are really good at having this kind. It can also be easily found online. My lip sticks, lip liners and eye liners that are too long to fit in the other container live here. Along with my beauty blender and tweezers.
Mirrored Vanity Tray
Just to break up the monotony of just jewelry on my vanity, I store my prettiest perfumes along with my cosmetic pouch on this vanity tray. It just adds a nice visual element to the space. I got mine from Home Goods and can’t link the exact one so I am sharing a super similar option.
Brush Holders
Believe it or not, my makeup brush holders are actually toothbrush holders for the bathroom. I like to think outside the box when it comes to storage. These gorgeous marble holders are also from Home Goods. Once again, I will link something similar for y’all to shop.
