How To Restyle Skinny Jeans. Today I shared a reel about restyling skinny jeans. Honestly I love the fact that they are making a comeback. My favorite are the ones that I am featuring in today’s post and they are the Levi’s 720 High Rise Super Skinny Jeans. Thinking about it, I’ve had these jeans for over 5 years…probably in the 7 year range but I haven’t worn them in a few.
Gen Z tried to say skinny jeans are out and every millennial probably rolled their eyes. I’m showing how you can style skinny jeans in a more updated way for 2025. Here are my tips:
Balance out your look with oversized tops
A button down with skinny jeans is a classic outfit that won’t go out of style. Instead of this one opt for a looser fit button down and play with how you tuck it in . If wearing a blazer, keep the fit oversized or opt for a boxy style like a lady jacket.
Ditch the waterfall or long cardigan for a shorter or cropped cardigan that can be tucked in.
Footwear
Skinny jeans were always my favorite to wear with boots. The natural skinny leg of the jean makes it work for many boot types. I do find that shoes with a chunkier sole like a lug sole boot or chunky sole loafer compliment the jeans nicely. Avoid ballet flats and instead wear a pointy toe flat or mule. Sneakers will also look fine with skinny jeans as long as you follow the rule of keeping your top pieces oversized.
