Shining the spotlight on a little shop called ICI Macaroons. First off, until I went here, I never ate a macaroon before. Many people rave about them and now I know why. This little shop is located in between 2nd and 3rd streets on Arch in Philly. The shop is very easy to walk by (I’m guilty) but once you find it, the sweet aromas will draw you in.
There were so many flavors to choose from! For my first try at macaroons, I got raspberry, jasmine tea and strawberry. I was pleasantly surprised at all of the flavor these little cookies have.
To wash down the sweetness of the macaroons, I got a french vanilla cappuccino. I don’t really drink coffee so that’s my usual alternative drink. Of course they make you feel extra fancy and make a pretty design in your drink.
I’m pretty sure this scenery looks familiar. I sought out ICI Macaroons originally for my Bastille Day post. It looks and feels as if your in France, though I’ve never been yet.
If you are in the Philly area and love macaroons, definitely stop by.
In other news, today is a really big day! Be sure to follow along on my snapchat and now “Insta-snap” too.
Thanks for reading!
SHOP THE POST:
You need to go to Miel Pasterrie in Rittenhouse! They have great macarons but I haven’t tried this place yet.
