Mini Getaway Pt 1

Mini Getaway Pt1

Last week was my  birthday and I took a mini getaway with my boyfriend and parents.  We had such a blast.  It may have been a short time but we truly made the most of it.

First off, we stayed at the cutest Air BnB just off of the water.  It was just a step off of the beach so it was perfect.  In typical blogger fashion, I shot 2 looks that day (those posts will come later this week and next).  The goal of this trip for me was to be as “in the moment” as possible.  So minus my snapchats, I stayed away from Instagram, Facebook, Twitter as best as I could and really enjoyed my quality time with my family.

And what do you do when the place you are staying at is steps from the water…you head to the beach!

After some fun in the sun, we got ready for dinner.  I figured since it was my birthday week that I’d make a million outfit changes, plus it’s just super fun.

If you’ve never been to Ocean City Maryland, I highly recommend that you go to Seacrets: Jamaica USA (coming up in tomorrows post) and The Bonfire Restaurant.  It’s an all you can eat seafood buffet and it’s only $34.99 per person!  I think they have the freshest seafood out of any buffet I’ve been too.  I ate lots of crab legs, Maryland crab soup, salmon, mashed potatoes…the list is endless lol.  They also have a bar there so that’s an added bonus that most buffets don’t have.

After stuffing our faces, we went back to the house and watched the Game of Thrones season finale which was CRAZY!  Stay tuned for part 2 tomorrow.
