Happy Thursday!!! I’m so excited to be officially starting my new Philly restaurant series with my favorite brunch spot in the city, National Mechanics! Now Philly has a ton of great restaurants and I’m going to be giving you my recommendations every Thursday on a new spot for whatever occasion you want or need!
First let’s talk Bloody Mary’s. As you can see in the pictures, National has a Bloody Mary bar during brunch. You can choose your choice of vodka or tequila (if they have the bacon infused vodka you have to try it! ). You also select your rim of choice. Personally I like an Old Bay rim. If you don’t want to make your own Bloody Mary you can just order one from your server.
Now for this post I’m specifically spotlighting their brunch but don’t get it twisted, their dinner menu is fantastic as well but that would make this post ridiculously long. Pictured below we ate “Breakfast!” which is 2 eggs your way, with your choice of breakfast meat and it comes with potatoes. I added cheese to my eggs. The other picture is “steak and eggs” with a side of French fries. The steak is sooooo good.
A side note, if you like to do karaoke, Tuesday’s are karaoke night so go and sing your little heart out!
Can’t wait to talk about my next restaurant next Thursday.
The details:
What: National Mechanics
Where: 3rd and in between Market St. and Chestnut St. (Old City)
