Happy Saturday loves! Today’s post is a Novex Hair Care Review. This is a bit of a different post but let me give you a back story. If you’ve been following the blog and YouTube, you know that one of my New Year’s resolutions was to focus on hair care. I’ve been trying to grow my hair out for years with no true progress. I’ve always had longer hair and have noticed over the years that it has broken off due to heat damage, everyday styling, and being dry. Enter Novex!
This is a Brazilian hair care company. The one thing that immediately caught my attention was that I know that Brazilian women have all different types of hair ranging from coarse to fine. I then had to choose between their variety of products:

- NOVEX BAMBOO SPROUT
- NOVEX COCONUT OIL
- NOVEX MY CURLS
- NOVEX OLIVE OIL
- NOVEX PROFESSIONAL
I chose the Brazilian Keratin because it was the best description that fit my hair needs It is described to reinforce the structure of the hair and results in shiny, soft hair with natural movement. Sold!
There are 4 easy steps to follow and the best part is that they are written on the back just in case you don’t understand. First I used the shampoo. I always put shampoo in an applicator bottle so that I am just focusing on cleaning my scalp and not the rest of my hair. (shampoo the scalp, condition the hair)
Step 2 is to repair. Put a good amount of the second bottle into your hair and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
Step 3 is to apply the conditioning treatment and let it sit for about 30 minutes . Whenever I do a conditioning treatment, I condition my hair I like to do it for at least an hour to really let the conditioner get deep in my hair follicles. Then I put a plastic bag or plastic cap on my head to lock in the natural heat from my head. (Don’t judge the bag 🙂 )
The last step is to apply the leave-in conditioner.
Overall I had a good experience. I did notice a little shedding of my hair when I went to cowash it a week later but that could have been because I needed a trim. Obviously I just have to keep using the product to see any true results but I’ve had it for a couple of weeks now and I think it is doing what it is supposed to do.
