NYE Sparkle

Bringing some NYE sparkle to the blog today.  There is one thing that will always be and that’s New Years Eve and sparkle!  Whether it’s sequins or glitter, dress or pants these two will always go hand-in-hand.  People say “less is more” but for New Years, more is more!

I mixed an unexpected combo of velvet and sequin for a fun New Years Eve look.  I love the end result.  I’m going to a wedding this New Years Eve but if I wasn’t I would wear this.  As much as I love dresses, it tends to be really cold in Philly on New Years.  This is the perfect mixture of looking cute but fairly warm and comfortable at the same time!  Wait for your uber in style while being warm 😉

I would love to hear what you all got for Christmas.  Since Sheldon got me an engagement ring, I let him off the hook for a gift.  He got me one anyway though 🙂 .  I got him a sound bar since he wouldn’t shut up about it.  My family also enjoyed their gifts so that put a big smile on my face.  I know that isn’t the reason for the holiday but it sure warms my heart.

Last thing which I completely forgot to mention.  I’m heading to see The Nutcracker today at the Academy of Music!!!  Sheldon is so thrilled.  This was my Christmas gift from my parents.  The dance studio I grew up in performed it every year and I truly miss it.  I’m talking at least 12 straight years of performing in the Nutcracker.  I’m pretty sure I played almost every part lol.  Follow along on snapchat and Instastories to keep up with our date night!
