I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, I’ll never tire of color. However, I have enjoyed neutrals lately and these olive neutrals in todays look are to die for. Recently instead of pre-planning my outfits I just grab and go. Yes this could create timing issues but it has also allowed me to be more creative in ways I didn’t even know.
Here’s the thing with fashion blogging, it’s not just about having the clothes, wearing all of the latest trends and what not. It’s about the creativity, the ability to inspire someone to try something different. My favorite thing is when someone says they didn’t know how to wear a pair of black jeans but they went to my blog and got an idea. Another is my popular blanket scarf post. You would be surprised how many people don’t know how to tie them. They come to my blog, read the post and viola. At the end of the day, that’s all I want. Everything else in between is secondary.
Now let’s break away and talk about TGIT last night! For those that do not know, TGIT is the shows that come on ABC on Thursdays from 8pm to 10 pm. I also call it “Shonda night” because she is the creator of all three shows.
My personal opinions; I wasn’t very impressed with this episode of Grey’s Anatomy. Scandal, though I am not a faithful watcher, definitely pushed the envelop a bit. It’s just too soon I think. How to Get Away with Murder just has me wondering who killed Wes? They say we will know by episode 3. Do you really think Frank did it?
Ahhh anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend. I have a Sixers game tonight and then tomorrow I am going for my wedding dress consultation!
