Our Wedding Invitations

Happy “Wedding Wednesday”!  I’m trying not to cry as I share this post about our wedding invitations from Minted!!!  Minted is an amazing site to order all the things such as thank you cards, save-the-dates, Christmas cards, graduation announcements, etc.  Let’s talk about our invitations a little more.

When you get to the site you will see that you are able to choose between a so many different designs which makes it so hard.  Once you are set on which design you want, you can begin to make it your own.  A template is given to you and you kind of fill in the blanks to your liking.  For our invitations, I wanted an elegant theme and for everything to match.  I went with this design.

One thing that was a bit of a saving grace was the address assistant.  Instead of having to manually enter the addresses on each envelope, Minted provides a small Excel-like spreadsheet for you.  This is the only “strenuous” part about the process because you have to enter all of the names and addresses there.  Once they are in the address assistant and you are ready to finalize your envelopes.  The envelopes are shown via proof preview and then you’re done!  Also, never feel like you are bound to stick with a design you are unsure of because Minted will send you a proof from your order if you would like.  Get an idea of how the invitation feels, sizing, font etc. in person before you commit.

Another great thing about Minted is that you are given a free wedding website with the purchase of any of their wedding items!  We already had our wedding website but it’s a great idea to put the website on your invitations as extra information for your guests.
