Wow, what a week it’s been! This was the first time that I attended just about every event for Philly Fashion Week. In true fashion form, I want to share my Philly Fashion Week 2019 outfit recap with you. Let me start off by saying that you do not have to spend a fortune to look like or feel like a million bucks. Many people were asking me where I got my clothes from and I can proudly say that they were almost all from Shein…yup I said it and this post is NOT sponsored.
Day 1 – Opening Party Outfit
I will say that the only thing in this outfit that I did not pay for was my skirt. I was given a gift card to shop at Century 21 for an outfit for the opening party. This is what I came up with. Everything else…my bag and turtleneck were from Shein. My booties are from JustFab and you will see me wearing them throughout the week.
Day 2 – Trend Show
I actually did not attend the Trend Show on this day. However, I thought it would be fun to still dress the part. One of my favorite trends of the moment is animal print…specifically snakeskin.
Day 4 – Luxe Streetwear Show
One thing that I want to do more of with Philly Fashion Week is borrow clothes from thee designers to wear at the shows. I was fortunate enough to be wearing one of the designers, D’IYANU for the show.
Day 5 – Runway I
This is probably one of my favorite looks. I seriously felt amazing wearing this cape romper and it’s price tag was a whopping $44! That’s it…I can’t believe it but when I saw it I knew it would be perfect for fashion week. Just the right amount of extra. I felt like a fashion superhero. Oh and I’m loving my little $25 pearl bag too!
Day 6 – Lov’n My Curves Show
I did the most on the last day of fashion week. Yes, I did a record of 4 outfit changes for each show/event I went to. Why? Because it’s fashion week, fashion is fun and when else am I going to be able to wear such outlandish outfits lol?
My top and skirt and both from Shein. I’m wearing the same booties as before from JustFab and my belt is an Obi Belt from QVC.
Victoria Wright
Would you believe me if I told you this dress is $8? Cuz it is! Oh and it comes in multiple colors….you’re welcome.
Runway II
After going back and forth…well secretly I knew I wanted it but I finally got this blazer, also a Shein find. How much you ask!? How about $35 🙂
Afterparty
I loved this set so much in the black that I got it in red…duh! It’s only $14!!!
That’s it! This was the first season that the Philly Influencer Mixer was able to participate as the official influencers of Philly Fashion Week. I am so happy and proud of each of the influencers that came out. If you would like to see a recap of what we did, head over to this post.
