So many exciting things happening in Philly as the weather warms up. One thing that I never heard of but am so glad I did this season is Philly Wine Week! I decided to participate with a friend and we went to Philly Wine Week at Art Bar.
I’m not going to lie, a huge draw for me to Art Bar for wine week was the wine flights. Art Bar was offering $15 wine flights with each flight having 3 oz. pours from their full wine list! As a former bartender, this was such a steal. After ordering my flight and the server bringing it out, I was in love with the presentation. I was just expecting a little tray with 3 wines on it but instead how great are the flight holders? The three wines I picked were a Francois Montand sparkling rose, I Castelli prosecco, and Finca Las Moras Malbec.
To top off our flights, my friend ordered a cheese board and it was delicious. There was a strawberry marmalade spread on the board that completed the cheese so well.
