The day has come for Preakness at the Piazza. First off let me tell you what Preakness is. It’s an annual horse race at Pimlico racetrack in Baltimore, Maryland. Held two weeks after the Kentucky Derby, it is the second race of horse racing’s Triple Crown. Preakness at the Piazza however is an annual event held in Philadelphia. This unique, fun, fashion event will take place at The Piazza in Northern Liberties. Everyone will come dressed in their best hats and bow ties for the evening. The best part is that 100% of the net proceeds will support the National MS Society.

This hat is compliments of my mom once again. A fun fact, she is my date for tonights event. My dress comes from my favorite boutique on South Street and I know I won’t be able to link anything similar for you. I figured I would take pictures in my outfit before the event because it is supposed to rain but I’m praying the storm blows the other way.
