Resale with Clothes Mentor

Ok ladies and gents, let’s talk resale with Clothes Mentor.  First off, what is Clothes Mentor?  It’s a growing franchise located throughout the U.S.  There are about 138 stores located in 29 states with more to come.  You can buy and sell your gently used name brand and designer clothing, shoes, and accessories.  I know what you’re thinking, “a fashion blogger talking about resale?”  Well let’s be real people, is it really that serious to have all brand new stuff?  I think some of my favorite items I own are from resale.  The one thing my grandmother taught me is how to be thrifty 🙂 .  Some of our best days were spent going to local consignment shops.  So yes, I know a thing or two about thrifting and resale.

Getting back on track, while at the store I had one thing in mind.  I wanted to show a couple of different looks.

Causal.

This outfit is the same as the one below with a different jacket.  I love this jacket which is by H&M.  Note that it was only $22 versus about $50 in the store.

Date night/Girls Night Out.  If you work in a more dress casual environment like I do, this is totally acceptable for work.  If not, this could work for a date night or girls night out outfit if you take the jacket off.  Note: the shoes I’m wearing are by Guess and they are soooooooo comfy!  Also with a $16 price tag…they came home with me! 🙂

Business casual.  Let me point one thing out.  This tweed jacket was the first thing that caught my eye when entering the store.  Needless to say that it came home with me.  It’s by Ivanka Trump (don’t judge me) and only costs $16!!!  Normally it would cost about $100.  There is literally nothing wrong with it…no snags, marks, nothing.
