Snakeskin OTK Boots + How To Wear Them

My latest obsession…these snakeskin OTK boots from Just Fab! I’m currently working on a “favorite boots of the season” post but I think these come in first place. I’ve been wearing them nonstop since I got them. It’s only been like 2 weeks but I’m sure you’ve seen them all over my Instagram.

Many people tend to shy away from bold prints such as snakeskin and leopard. I on the other hand choose to embrace them. Is it possible that the print is so loud that it’s almost muted? If that even makes sense, this is how I and many others justify leopard and snakeskin as “neutrals”. Think about it, I’m wearing snakeskin boots with a printed handbag but I don’t feel that they are clashing or competing. Also, what you wear with it can make a huge difference.

How To Wear Snakeskin OTK Boots

• Stick to solids – Whatever you are wearing stick too solids. A solid color sweater, dress, skirt, jeans. Mixing prints is great but if not done right it can look tacky.
• Stick to neutral tones – Neutral colors like black, tan, brown, cream, etc. will make your outfit center around your snakeskin boots. If you add a pop of color like orange, have that be the one and only color that really pops…unless you want to be bold.
