What is Steel City? It’s a nickname for my hometown of Coatesville, PA. Coatesville is home to the oldest steel mills in the United States, Lukens Steel Company now known as Arcelor Mittal. So I wore this outfit last week to my cousin’s baby shower. I don’t think I’ve ever received so many compliments on an outfit! It’s funny because it’s also one of my favorite looks to date. Lately I notice that I’m obsessed with how French girls dress. Y’all they literally have some of the best style. I call it “minimalistic chic.”
They really do have je ne sais quoi. You just can’t seem to put your finger on it but they have it. Their outfits are always super simple and then elevated with some amazing accessories. I always say, I don’t spend a lot of money on clothes, I’d rather invest in my accessories…especially handbags.
I really felt like experimenting with my scarf and love the way it turned out tied on my neck. For my bag, I was super unsure of wearing it in these frigid temps but I think it pulled the look together perfectly. My shoes….*swoon. Got these babies on the sale rack in Nordstrom. I don’t wear them often but when I do, they make a look super chic. How do y’all think I did?
