Y’all, this strapless Trina Turk dress is giving me LIFE!!! When I bought this dress I knew it was everything but I really love the way I styled this dress. Many times when we as women buy a strapless item, I think we feel limited with how we can style it. Well I love to take a risk so I figure, “why not layer a dress shirt underneath?’ I’m so glad I did. It truly adds dimension to complete the look.
I wore this outfit to a women’s entrepreneurship brunch so I had to keep it business-y (yes I made that word up). It’s so wonderful to hear another person’s journey to success and inspiring. Six women entrepreneurs were on the panel and it was hosted by Mina Say What of Power 99 radio station.
I love the fact that this dress has hints of blue in it. I really tried to highlight that blue by pairing these blue booties and blazer with it. Business-y but stylish.

So sorry for today’s post going up so late. My weekend was so busy and this week will be even busier! On top of Thanksgiving on Thursday, I have Sixers games today, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday! I leave for vacation next Tuesday and can’t wait!!! Any guesses on where I’m headed?
