The Nines By Hatch Maternity

The Nines By Hatch Maternity. I frequently get requests to share maternity brands and pieces that I love. While I don’t typically buy a ton of maternity items when I’m pregnant, I have some go-to items and brand favorites. I’m very excited to introduce to you The Nines By Hatch Maternity which is sold at Target! The biggest difference with my pregnancy this time around is the time of year. Finding clothes and what works on my body has been so fun. I’ve also discovered some new brands along the way. Here are a few pieces that I picked up from them.

Gingham Sweatshirt

Size Small

It’s no secret that I love anything gingham and when it comes to dressing the bump you can never go wrong with a sweatshirt and leggings. I love this sweatshirt because I’m wearing my normal size (just maternity) and it covers my butt. I’ll talk a little more about proportions but it’s not so flattering wearing a sweatshirt that doesn’t cover your butt with leggings (pregnant or not). To complete the look I’m wearing my Spanx mama leggings with Converse. Those Converse will turn into slip on sneakers soon enough because bending over with laces are no longer my friend lol.

Floral Dress

Size XS

One of my favorite types of dresses to wear while pregnant are A-line dresses. I think the bigger you get a longer hemline is a better option as to not make your stomach look even larger. A-line dresses even look great with a belt around your waist since us preggos won’t be seeing a real waistline for a few months lol.

Jogger Pants

Size XS

You will notice that most maternity pants have a thick elastic waistband on them to accommodate a growing bump. While that’s great and all for comfort, it doesn’t leave you many styling options besides leaving your shirt untucked. I love this smocked waistband on these jogger pants. I’m able to tuck in my shirt and feel/look like myself. They are also super soft. Since I’m short, I pulled them up a bit to my calves and I love the way it looks. You can’t go wrong with wearing sneakers or sandals with them.

Ribbed Jersey Dress

Size Small

Huge fan of this dress and really any dress of this type for a growing bump. When it comes to dressing your bump your really have to pay attention to your proportions. No one wants to look bigger than they already are or feel right? These types of body con dresses look great with a bump. They flatter the figure and can also be styled with a denim jacket.
