Top 10 Favorite Christmas Movies

Top 10 Favorite Christmas Movies

This post is pretty self explanatory.  Sharing my top 10 favorite Christmas movies.  Coming up with this list was actually harder than I thought.  Some movies came right to mind and then some I had to remember seeing.  Take a look at my list and see if any of your favorites make the list.

Elf

Anytime you can quote an entire movie, it goes down as one of your favorites.  I just love this movie so much.  Buddy’s Christmas spirit and positive nature is so infectious.  If I were ever a character in a movie I think I would be Buddy the elf.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas

I just love Cindy Lou Hoo and the Grinch of course.

Home Alone & Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

I’m pretty sure that this is an ongoing debate…that these movies aren’t Christmas movies.  Well guess what, the Charlie Brown theme song isn’t a Christmas song either!  Anyway, I just love to watch these 2 movies around the holidays.  Home Alone 2 is probably my favorite over the first one just because who wouldn’t want that experience as a kid!?

Office Christmas Party

Y’all, this movie is hilarious!  I think we came across this movie last year when looking for a Christmas movie to watch.  If you haven’t seen it yet, definitely give it a watch.

Bad Santa

If you’re all for some inappropriate holiday fun, Bad Santa is the movie for you.  PSA, this movie is super rated R…do not watch with kids.

The Night Before

I think Sheldon and I discovered this movie last year…better late than never.  It is hilarious!

Now, on to my favorite stop motion Christmas movies.  It took a lot of googling to figure out what these were called and how to describe them.  These are the classic movies played every year since my parents were kids.  You know, the ones with Mickey Rooney and Fred Astaire narrating and doing the voices.

The Year Without A Santa Claus

Oh this one is sooooo good!  I seriously cry every time they play “Blue Christmas” lol.  It just gets me!  Sheldon says that this is his favorite one.   Heat Miser and Snow Miser steal the show.

Frosty the Snowman

“Happy Birthday” Frosty is adorable in this film.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

You can’t talk about Christmas without the most famous reindeer of all.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

I’m pretty sure this is the one with like “the evolution of Santa”.  Santa starts off with the young, red head Santa

Top 10 Favorite Christmas Movies

My cousin would probably disown me for not putting “A Christmas Story” on this list lol.  I’ve seen that movie way too many times plus they play it for 24 hours on Christmas.  It’s a classic but not one of my favs.  I’d love for y’all to chime in and tell me some of your favorite Christmas movies.  Maybe I missed some or have some to watch.

Thanks for reading!
