Well it feels so good to be able to share this but…. We’re pregnant! Haha, are you surprised or did you know? It has been such a struggle not being able to share this with y’all. The last week or so my belly kinda popped and I couldn’t really hide it much longer. It was making filming my outfit videos almost impossible. I was actually going to wait until Friday to share this announcement but I need to get some work done and it’s easier for me now that you all know.
Family and close friends have known for a while now so it’s been a very weird journey of emotions. I’m super happy and open around those that know but then on stories, videos and even in photos I was being more mindful which makes the whole being pregnant thing a little anticlimactic lol.
There were so many times during the first trimester that I did not even have the energy to pick my head up. Y’all know that’s a big deal for me. So yes, that’s a huge part for why I haven’t been posting on the blog as much. Hoping those days are behind me now and I’ve got my energy back so it’s back to business as usual. Anyway we are super excited and I can’t wait to have a little baby doll to play dress up with haha. If one thing is for certain, this kid is gonna be well dressed!
Before I go I want to give a huge thank you to Joe for capturing these images. Joe and I have worked together for many years on so many blog campaigns. He actually had no idea that he would be shooting our pregnancy announcement. He thought it was just going to be regular outfit photos. I have a cute video that I filmed of his reaction when I told him. I’ll be sure to share.
I’m keeping today’s post short and sweet since I know this could get long. I also know that y’all have some questions for me to feel free to ask away in the comment section or on Instagram.
