Winter Outfits With Leggings. Faux fur lined leggings will keep you warmest. I found mine at Target when I was heading to an Eagles game that got record low temperatures. Safe to say they past the test with flying colors. When I spoke of my faux fur lined leggings on Instagram many of you asked for an Amazon alternative so I found a pair that I will link for you as well. I know that there is a good portion of people that don’t wear leggings but I feel like there is a great majority that do and need outfit ideas for all seasons. Here are some looks that I came up with that are not only cute, but will keep you warm as well.
Sporty Chic
I love this look. I pulled some inspiration from a Pinterest photo for this one. A long black coat, you could also swap this out for a long black puffer coat. Paired with a turtleneck, sneakers and a beanie is an easy combo to recreate. I threw a gray sweatshirt over my shoulders for an effortlessly warm and chic look.
Edgy Chic
Now I feel like this look can have a few modifications. Please do not come for me for this jacket I chose. It is old and I don’t have a link for it. What I was saying about modifications, you can just do a regular leather jacket with this look. This one with the sherpa details just looked and felt warmer. This outfit is great because it takes the same base from the first look (turtleneck, leggings and socks) and a change of shoes, jacket and accessories give it a whole new look. A little style tip: if I’m not wearing this style boot (a Chelsea Boot) with looser or straight leg jeans I like to expose the top of my socks to show some separation between the boot and my legging or whatever pant I’m wearing.
Office Appropriate Chic
This look clearly shows the power of accessorizing. With a few elevated accessories this look has gone from casual and everyday to more sophisticated. If you work in a business casual environment this look could work for you. When I worked in the corporate back office for PNC Bank this look would have 100% passed the vibe check. I’m wearing a sweater dress but it’s super short so I styled it as a sweater. Then a pair of flat, leather over-the-knee boots for style and comfort. This style coat will always dress a look up. My scarf gives Burberry vibes, so bougie, I just got this faux fur headband which is super warm and these glasses always give rich vibes. Make sure you carry a dressy handbag to really bring it all together.
Comfy Casual Chic
Disclaimer, yes you can throw a coat on over this look if it’s not warm enough for where you are. This is a great everyday look perfect for the stay-at-home or work-from-home person. I love the cozy pops of sherpa in this look. To add more cozy details, you could put on a teddy coat, they are always my go to for warmth but looking cute.
Game Day Chic
GO BIRDS!!! I actually wore this look with a lot more layers to that Eagles game that I mentioned in the beginning of this post. Same as the look above, you can add on a coat for added warmth. I doubled up my hats, had on a long puffer coat, a turtleneck, long sleeve plus two pairs of gloves for the game and was actually sweating. These boots are the best if you don’t have snow boots and like the look of moon boots. They are waterproof and memory foam on the inside so super warm.
