I cannot believe that this month is just about over! This has definitely been one of my busier months which I’m super happy and grateful for. Philly event season was in full effect and I just want to share a brief recap of my events.
Spring Awakening Party
So technically this event was in April BUT it was the end of April so I’m lumping it in with the rest. Plus I really loved my outfit lol. Anyways, I believe this was my second year attending this event. Last years was the day before my bridal shower! Stratus is a rooftop lounge in Old City Philadelphia and they celebrate the opening of the rooftop with a party! Even though it rained there were plenty of covered areas to keep dry under.
Philly Mag Wine Festival
My second year attending, I LOVE the Philly Mag Wine Festival. First off, I love wine and to top that, there are more than 500 red, white and bubbly wines that you can sample from around the world. This year Fergie came to represent her wine brand Ferguson Crest. Last year Lisa Van Der Pump’s daughter Pandora represented their brand.
Philly Influencer Mixer
If you haven’t heard of this event, feel free to read all about it in this post. Long story short, I hosted my first Philly Influencer Mixer with my friend Kamille Watson of The Hot Kommodity at Photo Pop Philly. This event was created to bring Philly’s bloggers/influencers together to build relationships, inspire creativity, network and learn something new. The coolest part that many people don’t realize is that we had our event at Photo Pop before they opened to the public. Gotta love great friends like Kate of Philly PR Girl who is the owner of Photo Pop!
Curtis Atrium Unveiling
This was my first time going to The Curtis. It’s crazy because I used to live near it and I’ve passed it too many times that I can count but never paid it any attention. The unveiling of the atrium was absolutely beautiful. It looks like the perfect place to have a wedding reception!
Assembly Rooftop Spring Launch Party
It’s always a good time at any party that Assembly throws. This private event was open to media/bloggers/influencers alike to come celebrate to opening of the rooftop for the season. The views are spectacular!
Kimpton Off The Record Event
As you can tell by my outfit this was the same night as the Assembly Rooftop party. Many of the Philly bloggers and influencers got invited to the same events during this entire week so we just popped around. After the Assembly party ended we finished up the night at Hotel Palomar for their Off The Record Event.
Photo Pop Philly Grand Opening Party
As I said above, we had the Philly Influencer Mixer at Photo Pop before it opened, thanks again Kate! Of course I had to support the actual grand opening event! Photo Pop Philly is an interactive art exhibit and the perfect place to be if you are an influencer/blogger or just love a scenic photo. I was loving this Game Of Thrones inspired sports throne.
Blogger Closet Sale
One of my blogger buddies Erica of Coming Up Roses organized a blogger closet sale held at the Sonesta Philadelphia. The best part was that all proceeds went to the Northeast Animal Shelter. We raised over $1K for the animals!
The crazy part about this is that minus the first event all of these were held in the same week! I actually had an awesome event on Sunday the 19th but due to scheduling conflicts I couldn’t make it.
