2023 Toyota Sienna XSE Hybrid. In case you missed it, I plan on using this post to start off my mini series of trying out family friendly cars and sharing them with all of you. You would be surprised how many people ask for car recommendations with third row seating and such. I’ll start off by sharing some of the features and then my final thoughts about the car at the end.
Exterior Features:
Some things that stood out to me immediately:
- Hands-free dual power sliding side doors
- Hands-free power lift gate with jam protection
Honestly as a mom of two littles I didn’t realize how much I needed this until I had it. My hands are always full with either children or STUFF! As much as I love my current SUV, having the ease and convenience of both of these features was a total game changer. The best part was that there are a couple of ways to enter the minivan with just the touch of a button. You can use the button on the remote or there is a button on the door handles that opens and closes the doors. Now the hands-free power life gate…1000% recommend getting. I went on a Target run with the kids and of course had my hands full with the kids and groceries. With just the kick of my leg, boom, the trunk opened. Not gonna lie, this was one of my favorite features. You could also use the remote to open the trunk or touch the button on the trunk to open it.
Interior Features:
Now the interior features were the true selling point. When I tell you Toyota thought of everything that a family on the go may need….they thought of everything!
- Manual second row sunshades
- 7-passenger seating with SofTex® sport seats
- Second-row captain’s chairs with super-long-slide feature
- HD Entertainment Center with 11.6 in. display
- SO MUCH SPACE!
- Android Auto & Apple CarPlay & Amazon Alexa compatible
- Sport tuned suspension
- One USB media port
- Six USB charge ports
So as I said in my Instagram reel, I give this minivan a 10 out of 10! It’s funny because growing up I used to always want a minivan. Clearly younger Davida was on to something lol. I loved how spacious the inside was AND with it being a hybrid, it was fantastic on gas. We made a trip to Virginia and back plus I had the car for a week and only spent $40 on gas! The convenience of the dual sliding doors and power lift gate were just everything. If you have any questions for me about the car please let me know. Now, which car should I drive next?
