2025 Eagles Holiday Cheer Junior Clinic. There are so many things about my kids that bring me joy. As a parent, I now understand that nothing makes you happier than seeing your kids happy and doing something they enjoy and love. I may be biased as a dancer myself but I love watching Cora not only dance but enjoy it herself.
Cora was invited to the Eagles Cheerleaders Holiday Cheer Junior Clinic on December 29, 2025. She was one of the youngest ones (only 4 1/2 years old) there and I am just so proud of how well she did. The day started off with Swoop greeting us at the door and made our way to check in at registration. To my surprise and delight each girl was given a set of pom pots along with their choice of 2 water bottles and a poster of the current Eagles cheerleaders to be signed during the clinic. The girls were separated by age for their class. Ages were 5-6, 7-8, 9, and 10+.
We made our way over to where the 5-6 year old group was stationed. The girls started with a warm up and stretching. Cora was a bit timid at first so I stretched with her until she was comfortable. The cheerleaders were super supportive and helpful during the entire clinic. Now, time to learn the routine. Can I just say they learned a lot of choreography for their ages! The dance was to “Sleigh Ride”. There was lots of time to learn, practice and perfect the dance. Next it was time for a break.
During the break, each age group was taken by the cheerleaders to take pictures with the Super Bowl trophies, how cool is that!?
When the girls got back from taking photos with the Lombardi Trophies they practiced their routine some more. Now it’s show time. First there was a performance by the Eagles Cheerleaders and then it was the girls’ turn. They started off with an Eagles cheer and chant followed by the dance. They did such a great job but especially my Cora. She really enjoyed herself and she held her own.
For one final surprise we all got to go to the field to take photos. Never miss a chance to take photos at the Linc especially with an empty stadium. There is truly nothing like it.
I can’t thank my Eagles fam enough for inviting us out to the junior cheer clinic. My girl loves her Eagles so we will definitely be back for the next one!
