2026 Philly Influencer Mixer Holiday Soiree. Kicked off the year in style and with celebration. One thing that I always try to do each year is to have a holiday party with the members of Philly Influencer Mixer. Since its start in 2019 many things have happened that have prevented that but my heart is always in the right place. This year when the opportunity came, I pitched the idea and it didn’t take much convincing.
The first thing that I have to deal with when planning an event is the date. Not just any date, a date that doesn’t conflict with other events and occasions. Seeing as most of the members run in the same circle when it comes to events, times like the holidays is especially tricky. You either have to be the first event or run the chance of overlapping with others. I ended up choosing Wednesday January 7, 2026. Slightly after the holidays but still early enough that people are in the spirit and mood to celebrate.
The venue, Steak48. One of my favorite places to eat when I want to go all out. The menu….y’all like seriously just take a look at the menu. When I say Steak48 outdid themselves, they truly did. We had open bar on top of this fantastic spread! The theme of the night: An Evening of Elegance & Celebration with the presence of the Fire Horse which is a symbolic nod to the Year of The Fire Horse in 2026. In the Chinese zodiac, the Fire Horse represents confidence, momentum, courage and forward movement. This felt like the perfect symbol for this moment in time both for Philly Influencer Mixer and for the community gathered in the room.
The “dress code” Y’all know I love any excuse to get dressed to the nines. With us being in the holiday celebration season and Steak 48 being an upscale dining experience, I chose “luxe cocktail attire”. I really wanted everyone to dress up. People don’t go all out like they used to so I set that dress code standard so that people couldn’t see “luxe” and somehow end up wearing jeans. This was our night to get done up and wear our best outfits on a Wednesday night. Literally starting the year off in style.
My outfit for the night, I shared a get ready with me video and chose this Fashion Nova dress. It was between this and a burgundy velvet dress and honestly, this one was the true winner. In true Philly Influencer Mixer fashion, I always have some sort of giveaway element. Thank you to Drift Destinations for the gift cards. Some Scrub Daddy’s were given out as well cuz who doesn’t love a Scrub Daddy!?
