Is it weird that I’m sharing my bedroom refresh post without actually having revealed the space to you? I don’t know but here we are. Since we moved into our house I think I put the bedroom on the back burner. For me it was more about focusing on the communal spaces (living room/dining room) that I wanted to reveal first. Now a whole year in I felt the need to get this space together.
Let’s just say that I’m quite surprised how this turned out seeing as I didn’t want a white comforter set. A friend of mine suggested I get this emerald green bedding set. While I loved it I just wanted it NOW! You know how it is. After already feeling uninspired by the space, the last thing I wanted to do was wait for delivery. So I made my way over to Macy’s online since I know they do same day pick up.
First I chose this bedding set but we decided it was a little too gaudy, still beautiful but not our style. Meanwhile I already purchased these ermald pillows (similar here) thinking they would go with that bedding set and it was kind of a disaster. Am I being dramatic…totally but you feel me? The next day I went to Macy’s to exchange the comforter for something else and feel in love with this one. You can’t go wrong with the color plus it has a pretty design to it and I can mix and match any color pillow of my choice.
