Best Natural Hair Products For 2020

Each year I usually do one of these posts. I figured it was time to share the best natural hair products for 2020 . Taking a look at my analytics, this is one of my most popular posts. While I love that y’all look to me for which products to use, I have to say that I need to make sure you are as up-to-date as possible with my routine.

Like I said, I almost wish to just remove this post since I don’t use many of these products anymore. I will let it live though because it is part of my natural hair journey. It was actually my first natural hair post on the blog. Here are my updated products that I use in 2020. If you have any questions about specifics feel free to leave a comment.

Mousse Def Texture Foam – If there were one product that I would say you need to add into your natural hair routine, this is it. You can check this post for my review of the product. There are so many natural hair products out there that promise you the world on the labels. Only to get home , try them and hate them lol. This product does everything the label says and more. Keep in mind that you have to be very generous with each use. *Note: I don’t use a leave-in conditioner or any other styling products if I am using Mousse Def. It replaces the need for any of that.

Coco Creme Curl Quenching Conditioner – I use this alongside of the Natur-all hydrating conditioner. It’s also my back up conditioner if/when I run out of the Natur-all conditioner. It’s super hydrating and has the best smell. After sectioning my hair I use this in each section and it’s so hydrating that I just finger detangle, no need for my wide tooth comb.

Doo Gro Stimulating Hair Oil – This stuff smells amazing. I don’t use it as often anymore but when it came to helping my hair grow and hot oil treatments I used it religiously.

Blowdryer w/ diffuser attachment – While I don’t use heat on my hair I do diffuse it every now and then. When I diffuse it I make sure to set the blow dryer on ‘cool’. The only times I diffuse my hair is if I am in a rush and don’t have time to let it air dry. Air drying my hair takes forever lol.

Hask Keratin Protein Treatment – Typically I use this as my deep conditioner. I feel like I always run through these protein packs so I never have them to share physically in a blog post. I love it, it smells amazing and very reasonably priced.

Natur-all Avocado Shampoo – I just started using Natural-all products last year and I’m obsessed with their avocado line. You can see my review of the line here. Avocados are a great fat so naturally they are great for your hair. You can’t go wrong with any of the avocado line products from Natur-all

Natur-all Avocado Hydrating Conditioner – Amazing hydrating conditioner with the perfect amount of “slip”. No need for a comb to help detangle my hair.

Natur-all Avocado Leave-In Conditioner – Find a good leave-in conditioner that works for your hair. I also love Kinky Curly Knot Today and Shea Moisture’s leave-in conditioner.

Jane Carter Curl Elixir – If I am ever out of my Mousse Def, that is when I will use this alongside of the elongating gel. Be sure to stock up on this product because it’s always sold out.

Jane Carter Elongating Gel – This is a great medium hold gel. It smells amazing and doesn’t leave your hair feeling crunchy. Again I don’t use this product or the curl elixir if I am using the Mousse Def.
