Dress worn as top: H&M, Skirt: Forever 21, Shoes: DSW
Today, I’m so excited to be teaming up with a “blogging” friend, Monroe from Fashion Steele NYC. I continue to admire Monroe, especially with jetsetting to Paris Fashion Week and such. Her style is so unique and her outfits are always on point. I actually met Monroe when I reached out to her and a friend when I found out they were hosting a blogger networking event in New York. The event was a success and we have been blogging buddies since. Today we will be featuring out black and white holiday looks.
Fun fact about my outfit; the top that I am wearing is actually a dress and has been featured in my 2014 Holiday Look Book and other posts as well. I love the versatility of dresses because they can be worn as they are, as a skirt or as a top. If you would like, you can also layer a shirt or turtleneck underneath for a different look. The full skirt in wearing is an oldie but goodie and it’s from Forever 21. Why not add a big bow with the skirt to compliment the bows in my top/dress? To complete the look, I decided to pair these black and white DSW shoes to add the last element of black and white. No need for a purse to keep the outfit simple.
