I will forever be Daddy’s girl. Today is a super special day to celebrate the most important man in my life. Let’s see if I can get through this post without crying lol.
I know that everyone says that their dad is the best but my dad absolutely is. I was one of those children that wanted to be anything and do everything so I know it was tough for my parents because they literally let me be in everything and let me know I could do anything I put my mind to. I love sharing this particular story with people about my dad.
So I grew up dancing and was in the studio at least 20 hours a week or more depending on Nutcracker or recital season. On more than one Saturday my mom or dad would take me to dance and if I had a track meet the same day/time frame of dance practice, I would leave during a break from dance, my dad would drive me to where ever my track meet was, I’d run my race and then he would take me back to dance. There was another time when I had a tennis lesson in between the time of two dance classes. So my dad would take me to my tennis lesson and when I was done he would take me back to dance. It’s crazy to think how many times we’d done that and how insanely supportive my parents were and still are.
Not only is my dad wonderful to me but he is to a lot of kids in my home town. He’s taught so many kids how to play tennis and they love and appreciate him so much. Without getting too long winded with this post, I’d just like to say thanks to my dad and I love you so much! Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!
