It’s been a while since my last home post so here we are today sharing some entryway décor ideas. Now I will say that I fudged this space a bit for the sake of this post. Normally I have the console table against another wall in the living room, right in front of the windows and with one of my plants. Since I hate backlight and this is a setup I saw a lot on Pinterest, I rearranged my living space. Living room reveal coming very soon, I promise!
Storage
I love maximizing space in the house in discreet and fashionable ways. A running theme that you will see throughout our house is storage baskets. Round, square, small or large, doesn’t matter the shape. Since I am always cold blankets and throws are a must! In our last place I had throws draped on the couch but for our new place, that was not the look I was going for. Getting a large basket to put the throws and blankets in was the exact fix. It goes with the theme of the house, is super cute and looks great as a decorative piece.
Welcome Mat or Runner
Y’all, how freakin’ cute is my welcome mat!? Omg I just can’t. When it came in the mail, I showed it to my husband and he was cracking up! It’s so true though. I’m actually thinking about getting this rug to go underneath this one as an accent piece. I’ll order it before I share our living room reveal with you.
Personal Touch
This is the entryway to our home so naturally I have to have a picture of us somewhere! I love this photo of us from our wedding day so much! To go along with my French Farmhouse theme, I have some lanterns, greenery and my favorite windowpane mirror. Adding a mirror to a room really brightens it up and makes the space feel larger.
