Golden Hour

Loving these golden hour shots!!!  For those that do not know, golden hour is the first and last hour of sunlight in the day when the lighting is quality and beautiful photographs are taken.  I have some key things to get to for today’s post so let’s get to it.

First, my hair!  I’m proud to announce that I have just become one of TresseNoire’s newest natural hair brand ambassadors.  With that, I received a styling session with the look of my choice and I chose the “faux hawk” or “frohawk.”  This is wayyyyyyy better than my attempt last week.  The best part about the service is that they come to your house!  This may not be ideal for everyone but I had no problem with it and loved every minute.  Shout out to my stylist Lita who killed it!

Next….this skirt.  I die!  I have been wanting a feather skirt for the last year or two and when I saw this one, I knew there was no way to say no.  It’s slightly high waisted and I added a belt to it to separate my top (which is a leotard) from the skirt.  This is also the outfit I wore to the third night of Philly Fashion Week.  It didn’t look as glamourous though because I couldn’t wear heels but hey, I’m loving these shots!  Back to the skirt.  I’m wearing a size small and it fits true to size.  I will mention that you should be careful wearing the skirt since they are real feathers and they will fall out.  As you can see in the light, the skirt has some slight metallic highlights of green in it which I love!
