Green Cargo Vest

Season after season a simple Fall staple that remains is a green cargo vest.  I’ve had mine for the past two years and it never seems to get old.  I will do a full post on what you need in your closet to transition to Fall, but definitely this vest.  In the past, I don’t think I did a great job at explaining Fall transitional wear.  It’s the one question that I get asked about most.

Without getting too much into the topic for this post, your transition wear should be exactly that.  We don’t want to spend a million dollars on our clothing.  We do however, want to maximize what we already have.  Buy a green cargo vest in the summer, pair it with shorts and a tee or throw it over a sun dress.  Use that same vest when Fall and Winter come but layer it with a turtle neck and scarf, jeans and boots.  Same vest but you can create so much with it!

Let’s pause on this topic until next week for now.  What are you’re plans for today and the weekend?  Tonight is the first full runway show of Philly Fashion Week.  I hear it’s going to be amazing!  I am so excited but I need to pick out my outfit!  Tomorrow, be on the lookout for my September Favorites video and I’m going zip lining for the first time!  The concluding runway show for Philly Fashion Week is tomorrow as well but I don’t think I am attending.  We will see.
